CB&I completed its acquisition of Lummus Global on November 16, 2007. CB&I and Lummus together can now offer customers in the hydrocarbon processing industries a total solutions package that comprises technology licensing and related catalysts; front end engineering and design (FEED); engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services; commissioning; and aftermarket support.

Lummus and its joint venture partners have more than 70 licensed processes supported by more than 1,500 current and pending patents, with key strengths in ethylene and olefins conversion technology; natural gas processing and treating; refining technologies including alkylation, catalytic cracking, hydroprocessing, delayed coking and residuum upgrading; and petrochemical intermediates and polymers.

In addition, Lummus Heat Transfer provides the design and supply of specialized heat transfer equipment to process industries worldwide.
